Confusion
Random Sunday on a Wednesday night (at least here in CST it’s night)? I get it’s Wednesday and I’m going to do it, anyway. Here’s part of the deal. I wanted to make sure y’all knew I hadn’t fallen off the planet or something like that. Augusts get crazy busy for me and this one has been no exception. Between seven birthdays in ten days within my immediate family, other camping trips, etc. that always fall in August, and getting ready to send my son to kindergarten this year, I have had a hard time keeping track of just about everything. So, part of this post is a Random Sunday thing, but I also want to give y’all a heads up about some things.
Book Releases
Which leads me to my next piece. Keep your eyes peeled here over the next couple days. I will have some awesome book releases featured. One of them is the poetry anthology I am in. I’ll tell you more when that post is published, but I mention it now as this is a project near and dear to my heart and it has nothing to do with my being a part of the project. I was invited late to the anthology and after learning what I have about it, I’d still support the book like crazy even if I weren’t a part of it. Plus, I have information on a couple release from some great indie authors/small presses worth checking out—one’s a fantasy book and one’s an alternate history book, so stay tuned.
Soreness
Man, I’ll leave off here because I am so sore and tired right now. My husband needed to get into better shape for various reasons. I’m not doing too bad, but the exercise certainly wouldn’t hurt. So, we worked with a trainer once a week this month to develop some good workout routines at the gym. Let me tell ya, the trainer did a great job. These workouts are kicking my butt big time. I love it though as it means I’m getting stronger and healthier—two key things for chasing a very busy five-year-old.
