So Now What

Hey. I know I’ve been gone for quite a while. It took me some time to really wrap my head around what I wanted to do next after my press closed. I thought I was ready and then discovered I had a little more work to do addressing that before I could move on.

Then life happened. As mentioned in my bio, I run a clinic in a hospital, and I have a son who is now in middle school – which is just crazy to think about because I started this writing journey before he was born. So, yeah, life happened.

Here’s the thing, the stories never went away. They’re still there itching to be told. I need to kind of start over, though. This time I’m taking the indie author path. It’ll be slower going and there’ll definitely be a learning curve. I think, though, this is the best way for me to accomplish what I want – to tell the stories that live inside my head.

I’ve redone my website, as you can see. While I’ve scaled back what I’m posting here, it’s to allow me to focus on getting my stories back in print. Please consider joining me on my socials found on my homepage as I’ll be sharing the day-to-day life stuff there. Watch for the bigger things here – things about my writing process, writing advice, book reviews, and book releases. I also aim to share news about goings on in the writing community when I can as well.

So, I hope you’re open to continuing this journey with me in this new chapter.
